During her studies she voluntarily participated in the “Physical Activity Study recording via electronic sensors and electronic Physical Activity journal» in the context of the research program ESPA “Alliance for Health-Nutrition”, during the period 01/2014 and in dietary interventions carried out under the ESPA program “Alliance for Health-Nutrition” in the Municipality of Thessaloniki in 2014.
She has practiced her internship in a dietary clinic specialized in metabolic syndrome, gastrointestinal disorders and autoimmune disease, with which she continued to collaborate for the next three years at first voluntarily and later as a paid employee-nutritionist.
In particular, she has been involved in dietary intervention in physiological and clinical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, thyroiditis, anemia, neurological conditions including epilepsy, gouty arthritis, fatty liver, depression, anxiety disorder, cancer, hormonal imbalances in women such as polycystic ovary syndrome and premenstrual syndrome, dietary support for autoimmune diseases (Hashimoto, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, scleroderma, lupus erythematosus). She also dealt extensively with metabolic syndrome that involves abdominal obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia and insulin resistance as well as nutritional support for gastrointestinal diseases such as Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, constipation, gastroesophageal reflux disease, celiac disease, as well as the treatment of dietary allergies and intolerances.
